About Us
Steven Arnold is a Certified Building Official, Certified Access Specialist (CASp), Certified; Plans Examiner, Building Code Specialist, Building Inspector, Electrical Inspector, Plumbing Inspector, Mechanical Inspector, and Commercial Combination Inspector. Steve is also a Construction Consultant, Expert Witness, Building Standards Code, and Accessibility Trainer, Author, Speaker, and Problem Solver.
As one of the Bay Area’s most renowned construction experts, Steve has conducted over 1000 pre-purchase home inspections since 1990. He worked as a General Contractor from 1991-1994 and has worked in the Public Sector since 1994, working for jurisdictions of Alameda County Housing Authority, Alameda County Lead Poisoning Prevention Program, Alameda County Building Department, Contra Costa County Building Department; Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga, Brentwood, Pittsburg, and Walnut Creek Building Department. Steve is currently the Chief Building Official for the City of Vallejo, Ca.
Steve serves on the CALBO Access Board since 2020 and is a Board Member for Milestones of Development since 2022. Steven Arnold is also an Ordained Minister at First Nation Ministry since 2011.
The Arnolds have invested in domain names since 1998 and look forward to sharing niche domains as websites to help our community and provide detailed information in areas like accessibility in the built environment, accessory dwelling units (ADU), and junior accessory dwelling units (JrADU), home business tools, education, guides, and training; and how God has made this all possible for us to share with you.
